labia lump really scared its cancer?

I'm 15 and right now I'm crymy eyes out. For about a year, I've had a hardish, moveable, painless lump under my left labia majora. I am not sexually active and suffer with anxiety so I'm freaking out in case I have vukvar cancer. I have no symptoms, nothing is out of the usual, I'm just really scared. Also there seems to be some kind of painful lymph node on the top of my inner thigh, near my vagina, which swells up when I'm sick, it's quite painful but goes down and only seems to come when I have an infection.

I'm so scared I'm going to die and I can't let any doctor see my genitals, I'm having a nervous breakdown.

This sounds like a sebaceous cyst, it's nothing serious but realIy go to your doctor. Ask for a female doctor, the thought of having a genital exam is much more scary than it actually is. I used to be the same but this past year I had to have a ovarian cyst removed which meant lots of embarrassing exams but looking back I was worried for no reason. It's all in a day's work for them! Once youve been and had your mind put at rest you'll realise it was worth it for a few mins embarrassment x

You really need to go to see the doctor. Or ask to see the practice nurse . As Linda says it's all in a days work for them. I used to be like that but trust me after childbirth Yiu would not care if you were in middle of wembley

Stadium as long as someone was helping. My

Mum used to suffer like you and it turned out to be boils . But what is probably nothing to worry about and easily sorted could get worse if you leave it . Have you spoken to your mum? Or a friend who could go with you xxx

Lymph nodes do swell up when we have an infection/are sick, that's how they do their job of fighting it and once done down they go.

Cancerous lumps are not usually mobile.

I had this kind of lump and it was to do with the changes a woman goes through at puberty, as has been said it was sebaceous. It took me along time to get up the courage to see anyone and I honestly wish I'd done so earlier as I would have saved myself so much worry.

Yes it is easy to say Drs have seen many genitals before yet feel but not mine, that is normal but please, for your own peace of mind, pluck up the courage to see them. Just start by telling them what is worrying you and you can refuse an examination. You may well find you feel more comfortable with a female nurse or Dr so ask for one when you make that appointment and if the receptionist asks why tell her it is personal.

Not much help I know, but big hug and thinking of you
