Lack of sleep cause anxiety to heighten?

So all last week I was on holiday in a caravan. So new bed and place so it did cause me to wake in the night. So I never had a full nights sleep for the whole week and also the pillow gave me neck ache. Can lack of sleep cause anxiety to get worse? As all that week it's been heighten and before I went on holiday my anxiety was pretty low for me. Plus the neck ache has caused me anxiety as it has caused head pressure and head fog along with my back aching and feeling weak. They my eye sight feels different and my eyes tired but that may be due to lack of sleep? I had a full nights sleep last night and woke up feeling crap today. Like I can't think properly and feel like I keep thinking about how I'm talking so that causes me to feel like I can't get my words out so I panic sad a never ending cycle. Sound like anxiety?

Very much so Sarah, lack of sleep only makes symptoms worse but it's totally normal try not to over think it (not easy I know) I'm exactly the same xx

Best way my luv I'm in the same boat xxx

Sleep is always my make it or break it cause of anxiety. I bought a FitBit specifically to monitor my sleep to help with anxiety. I recommend all of you getting one for that reason alone.

Huge yes on that. Sleep is so important. Also, before i fall ill i feel off too.
