lack of vitamin d

Just been told I have very low calcium d ,just wondering if anyone else has this and what you symptoms were .

Need some advice

Thanks in advance x

Hii Timmy,

No glasses and just writing this on my handset.

You must go and sit outside in the sunshine for twenty minutes a day. It will make all the difference. Vitamin D is really important and is easily absorbed through the skin and someone told me eyes. I sit outside at my local cafe for a short time before work and it is sunny. Even walking to work. Just get outside at some point of the day.

You will feel so much better.

Yes, Timmy I did.  My bones and muscles were aching but I also have haemochromatosis, so hard to tell what was causing what.

I was already doubling my calcium + d tablets but my level was still low.  Then my gp put me on Vit D3 Forte drops x 4 drops per day (get a good practitioners brand - about $33, but worth it because they work) and my level started increasing immediately.

I have low vit d my calcium is fine and so is my iron i did notice when my vit d was low I was tired having palpitations and just kind of out of it

at 50 to 51 yrs old I started getting musles and bone pain.  after blood test it was found i was low in vitamin D the doctor gave VD 50,000 for 4 week and 2000 mg tablet everyday thereafter it worked no more pain!
