I just wondered is there a Lansoprazole liquid the doctor can give it's just I've been on the tablets for about year now but I didn't know that by chewing because I struggle to swallow whole tablets so the tablets haven't been working
I'm not aware of an existing liquid... However you could split the tablet or something like that... Why are you on the drug? Have you had any noticeable sides from it? Which dosage are you taking?
I think I'm on it for acid reflux and I'm 30mg 1x a day
Any side effects? I'm on it for life 20mg Pantoprazole daily... No side effects for the time being...
No side effects
Hi you can get it in a chewable tablet called Fast tab Zonton I take this it's a pleasant strawberry flavor
Oh ok would a doctor prescribe that
H
You can get orodispersible tablets that melt in your mouth. I have these as I cant swallow tablets either. Also try ranitidine in disolvable tablet form.
Hope that helps 😀
Oh ok thank you
No problem
The tablets you mentioned can a doctor prescribe them?
Yes my doctor prescribed them for me they are so easy to take just let them melt on the tongue
Oh right I'll ask the doctor when I speak to them
The doctor wasn't very helpful she has given me there tablets that are smaller in size which I have to take one twice daily
Hi curtis1352, I'm currently taking orodispersable lansaprazole and it dissolves in your mouth in less than a minute and strawberry flavour too. Hope this helps.
