hi everyone. Been on 15mg lanzoprazole for a few years for reflux. The doc has said to increase the dose to 30mg a day but hasn't said when to take the extra dose. Do l take them together at the same time or one morning and night. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
If I were you I'd ring the surgery and ask. Just say your doctor omitted to tell you. Find it strange the pharmacy didn't put any details on.
I am not sure it matters but gwen is right probably best to ask surgery. There are 30mg tablets so I'd br inlcined to take them at the same time I think when you get meds the pharmacy label just reflects what the GP has put. But anyway sounds like you already have some, if you are doubling dose it will run out sooner and you can check
Wow take a moment and check the withdrawal symptoms. Next check and see what the maximum length of time you should take this drug. Last but not least talk to someone that went through withdrawal to find out how they managed. I was on it for three months the doctor extended to six months. I asked when I could start expecting to come off it. Answer: Why? Getting off this was horrible You think you have acid reflex now - it has a rebound that you would never expect. But with the help of a older lady I am off and I have the recipe that they took before they had the drug. Thank god!!!
