Larger tonsil. So worried!!!!!

So I just noticed that I have a bigger tonsil then the other. I noticed it when my teeth hurt from the wisdom teeth. But now it's gone but the tonsil is larger still. I do have a cough due to drinking cold water. Is having a larger tonsil normal?

I've got one tonsil larger than the others. It's not that uncommon and it's been this way for years. I'm prone to getting tonsil stones in it annoyingly because it's bigger, but it's harmless.

Other singular even haha

I keep getting tonsil stones there too!! It's so annoying. I see a white spot there but feel nothing. Guessing a tonsil stone is stuck there

Sounds like it. Yes they're super annoying.

You can usually ease it out with a wet cotton q tip if it's really bugging you qnd if you're very gentle and can cope with things touching your tonsil. Sometimes the gag reflex kicks in though. If you do try this, don't over poke it and use a mirror. If it's not budging by gentle pressure leave it where it is, it will eventually make its own way out.

If it's still there in a week or so, or if more white spots show check with your Dr. The other downside to it is the potential for reoccurring tonsillitis which again in nothing major but can be a pain. I've had that it 3 times in the last year or so.

And gargle with mouthwash or salt water to help it.

That white spot has been there for months now. Never showed it specifically to any doctor but they do check the tonsil when I go for a check up and they don't say anything. What does the white spot staying there for so long mean?

It doesn't affect me or anything. It's just there

It's not ABnormal. Usually they both inflame at the same time, but not always. Should probably get some antibiotics to reduce the infection.
