from one sue to another........  do not worry about the operation..... honestly,, it was so simple and over in no time at all. i took my i pod in to listen to some music, but dont recall hearing any at all!  the anaesthestist was by my side apparently all the time, i remember hearing him say its all over and you will soon be having a cuppa. how right he was..  what a great feeling it is to have no pain..i put up with it for nearly two years. if i ws told i needed my other hop doing, i wouldnt hesitate. yes it is nerve racking, and i felt so calm on the day of my operation it was unreal! just go with the flo and think positive thoughts, i did. going out without a stick, shopping, walking, going on holiday and driving are all things i thought about, and now nearly two weeks post op, and feeling amazing,  i will soon be doing them all again.   so stay positive and it will all fall into place. this forum is a great provider of information, so keep logging in and good luck!    xx       sue

Thank you for the good wishes. I'm only admitted today for op tomorrow. I'm third on list so will be late afternoon. Bp well down so am happy with that. And I'm so glad to have WiFi!!!
