Hi, I have chronic constipation and have taken Laxido for 3 days. First day 2 sachets, 2nd 5 and today 8 sachets. My stomach is incredibly distended, and have only managed a few (small) liquid poos today. Is this normal, are the laxatives starting to work? I feel so bloated and full it’s a nightmare 😢
Sounds to me like you should urgently seek medical advice, you have taken much more laxative than is recommended in a very short time.
If your stools are liquidy, reduce the laxatives. Softer stools suggest it is working. I took Movicol which took three days to work. Once my stools got softer, I stopped the laxative and went onto fruit instead.
