I have been on Clonazepam 0.5 mg 3 times a day as needed for a few years, just started Lexapro 10mg 1ce a day. My nerves seem worse,will this get better as time goes by? I get to the point I don't want to drive very frustrating.
I had been on clonazepam 1 mg for 18 years. I was having more anxiety than ever. By chance when having a procedure, the Anesthesiologist asked what meds I was on and told him about the clonazepam he said that’s not prescribed for anxiety and research it. I did my research and found out Benzodiazepines are not good for long term use! I am currently tapering off this meditation. It will be a long journey to get off this meditation... I wish I had not been such compliant patient. Moving forward I will research what is given to me in the future and if I’m ever put on a medication again I will have an exit plan in place...just saying...
