I am a 25 year old male. For the last 3 or 4 days I've been dealing with a dull pain, pressure, fullness feeling on the left side of my back just below my ribs/kind of at my lower ribs and it kind of radiates into my left side. This is following a bachelor party where a lot of alcohol was consumed. Additionally, I have been coughing for the last two weeks/generally feeling sick and am not sure if this is all related. I'm thinking it could be a kidney issue or possibly a pancreas or spleen issue. Any advice or guidance is much appreciated
If you consumed a large amount of alcohol your liver and digestive system in general has gone into overdrive trying to rid your body of the alcohol toxin.
Whether the cough and nausea are connected it is difficult to say. if you are feeling no better after 7 days do go see your doctor. Drink plenty of water to help your liver and no more alcohol until you feel better.
