Got this rash on both my shins for 4 weeks now, happened when I was showering at the gym, thought the water was too hot. I experience itchiness but its random when it happens. I use aqueous cream when I shower each day, apply lanacane cream and it seems to help and taken allegy relief tablets but the rash is still here. Any suggestions?

It looks like one of the lichen “diseases” although its not contagious. It doesnt really need any treatment as it should clear up on its own…although it may take several months. The way you are treating it is fine, but do see a doctor if it becomes troublesome. Have you had any vaccinations recently? Sometimes occurs after vaccinations although usually in children..

Thank you. I’ve not had any vaccinations recently, last one was my covid booster in September 2022.
