Legs getting worse

Is it normal for my legs to get worse with multiple sclerosis because for the last couple of weeks now I've had problems walking

Yea, unfortunately, for all but a very few people with MS, symptoms continue to progress throughout our lives. However, it's best to report any very noticeable changes to your GP/primary care Dr, or, if you have one, your MS nurse. Some changes might benefit from a particular treatment, like steroids. None of us should lose sight of the fact, that having MS doesn't mean that another condition might be affecting us. Not to state the obvious, it's just that it's easy to blame MS for everything.

Hi, I have been diagnosed with benign MS as I have very few relapses but the symptoms that stay are fatigue, balance and mobility. These come and go over days or weeks. My walking suffers periods of weakness and also poor balance. This does not happen all the time. I can go weeks not needing any walking aid, but always take a stick to support me in case my journey becomes difficult. My right foot can drag and occasionally I trip against the slightest thing.

Thank you for answering my question my legs have been getting worse since 2013 to the point where is difficult to walk and I fall over and also is it normal to become parsley sighted which I have

My problem is my knees Giving In am I love that

Hi again, unfortunately, with MS, there isn't a 'normal'. While it's generally very easy to find lots of things that you have in common with others with MS, the whole list of things, experienced by any individual tends to be unique to them. My sight's been affected by optic neuritis (ON), which lots of us experience because of MS. If your Dr's aren't aware of your sight problems, tell them as soon as possible.

Sorry, I'm rambling again.
