Lesion behind tonsil? (Pictures included)

Woke up with a very mild sore throat and looked for tonsil stones only to find this. I poked at it with a clean q tip and it is very soft and “stretchy”. Worried it could be an HPV wart, but from what I understand they are usually hard and grow slowly. It seems this came in overnight, but I could be mistaken. Should I see a doc about this? or what other things should I do?!!

There is another post in here where someone posted a photo of a similar growth that appeared overnight on their tonsil. They said it took about two weeks to go away.
