Lexapro/Ciprlax no longer working?

hello,

I have been on lexapro 15 mg for over 5 years and it no longer seems to be working. Went to the docs 11 days ago and he upped the dose to 20 mg. How long should I wait to see if the increased dose works? Not feeling any better at the moment.

Two weeks, possibly four where you would go see a GP if not working, there may be a further increase at four weeks ???

Thanks for the reply borderriever, hopefully they start to work because i fear it will be hard work to switch meds.Im also from the borders (near carlisle)
