anyone taking lexapro for generalized anxiety disorder and depression? how does it make you feel? are the side effects bad? i read that it can cause blood clots and im terrified of blood clots it gives me such bad anxiey.i just dont know what other medication to try.

i am on lexapro since last Aug and it works like a miracle drug for me. I have tried many SSRI but many of them don’t work well on me. I had experienced nausea and dizziness only for the first few days taking lexapro and it worked fine till now. in terms of blood clot, if i have i dont think i will be alive till now. trust the dr and the meds. hope it helps you.

how many mg are you on? i asked my dr for the lowest dose and he prescribed me 10 mg today.i ask if im able to take half of the 10 mg
i am on 10 mg. this drug is a miracle for me. give it a try
