Lichen Nitidus

Hello, While researching my red inflamed glans (Balanitis) symptoms, I came across a somewhat rare condition called Lichen Nitidus. Apparently, the glans is a common area where it manifests. My symptoms seem to align with it: small red papules with no other symptoms (no burn/itch/etc). At this point I have ruled out typical balanitis caused by fungal/yeast. I highly believe I am experiencing some form of LN + Atopic Dermatitis after exposure to Coconut Oil (used as personal lubricant) _or_ a salt scrub body wash I used on my entire body, including penis (yes i know this was not smart). Has anyone here experienced these same symptoms or been diagnosed with LN? Any thoughts on what might "cure" this? I have tried Hydrocortisone 2.5, prescribed by Urologist, which only made the condition worse. Entire glans is tinged light red now after using the steroid for 5 days - does anyone know if this will reverse in time? I am hopeful that things will get better. For now, I am applying a small amount of organic Shea Butter at night (anyone advise against this?). Any other ideas/input is greatly appreciated. "Lichen nitidus (LN) is an uncommon idiopathic inflammatory cutaneous eruption first described by Pinkus in 1901. The dermatosis is composed of multiple, small, discrete, glistening, flesh-colored to slightly pink papules that may occur anywhere on the skin; however, the most common sites are the glans and shaft of the penis, genitalia, abdomen, and extremities" "An “allergen” may cause antigen-presenting cells to activate a cell-mediate response, initiate lymphocyte accumulation, and form the discrete papules." "Its course is unpredictable; it may clear in a few weeks or last a very long time, and may show little or no response to treatment."
