Haven't been on here for a while got my gallbladder removed last may and have terrible stomach since first I went in for day surgery ended up in for twelve days with bile drain in had to have stent put in for three months can spend up to 4hours burping still got pain
Sorry to hear about your problems. They tell you you can eat normally afterwards but it depends what they count as 'normal'. I think they mean super-healthy! It's very upsetting to think you will be well afterwards, only to find you've more issues.
Are you eating a low fat diet, small meals, drinking water and including plenty of fibre?
Have you seen your GP? They can maybe prescribe something that may help.
I'm six months post op and able to eat most things without issues so long as I don't overdo fatty foods.
Doesn't seem to be anything in particular that sets it off.ive had 3 different stomach tablets my last pop when I had my stent removed was quite painful think it went down further than previous 3 wondering if something was maybe nicked don't know.
