hi out there iv been going through up hill battle the last ten years years. major operation on my left leg. soon after the surgery i had gangrene with my big toe Amputated with in that year i was diagnosed with Type II diabetes I was put on various medications being physically affected my mental illness i could not walk no more than twenty feet the pain in both legs was getting so uncomfortable my quality-of-life was diminishing . when your in pain every day it takes its toll on you and others around you last year i was assessed by the mental health team I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder + borderline bipolar and anxiety six month ago my legs were a concern the pain hurt so much i had the start of two diabetic ulcers witch turned sepsis and very nasty and aggressive i was rushed in hospital i was told i could lose my leg that day. i was send for Doppler test and MRI scan and three x-rays. i was told i had major blockages in my left leg. that night a was taken down to theatre i had the ulcers Debrided the bone on my was swab for sepsis. the next day i was taken back to theatre, i had three stents inserted in my left leg i had eight inch blockage and a six inch blocked i was told theyv been there for some years seven day later i was discharged for hospital. week later i phoned call advising me to come back to hospital for more tests that day i was told theres more blockages in my left calf im waiting for the outcome of what hospital are going to do my wife has walked out on me im going to be medically discharge from work iv gone into default with the bank iv took overdose of medication i was at rock bottom so iv reached out to family friends my boss and the NHS team the amount of people there for me now I broke down and cried it hurts when life throws at you A curveball i do Believe in Karma theres always away im 60 now never drank or smoked try to keep fit i know now i have to look after myself not get stressed out talk to others if im not to good keep away from negativity my best friend my dog who brightens my day all the time want one door closes another door opens for the best if theres any one out there who would like to pass on advice to me please do so i could do with a friend

If you are going to be medically discharged from work it should be under medical retirement so hold out for this. Meanwhile you must be entitled to some benefits so have a look on the Gov.UK site or speak to someone at the hospital as I believe they do have benefits advisors there. Good luck. x
