I started this light a candle group for this website and everyone in it who's suffering from illness.
It would be nice if between us all we can keep at least one candle burning all the time. Each candle burns for 48 hours and we can add our initials and a message.
georgia funny i was thinking along simulair path yesterday after you told me about that pray experiment .
do we have a national pray day . if not would be good to start one everyone of like mind at a certain time on a certain date could take an hour or so to sit quite and meditate or pray .together . that would be amazing for the planet i am sure .
Wow yes! I don't know if there's a national or international prayer day but it'd be really great if there was one. We'll have to find out.

What a lovely and kind thought of yours,we could most certainly do this. I started my prayer group in order for something like this .Sadly not had many people coming in .
That could be used in the way a candle could.In as much as perhaps we could arrange a time that would be suitable for us all, to join together with each other ,and feel free to say a prayer of their own choice,or a lovely verse.you know something like that . It would not be something to brain wash anyone ,or to try and change their own beliefs,what do you both think and feel about this ?

There's the International Day of Prayer for Peace on the 21st September, which is also the United Nations Day of Peace. And there's and the Global Day of Prayer, 24th May, and some others. There's a women's one that we missed in March.

I too missed your initiative Milly. Today I am particularly in need of our group around me both in our symbolic candles and our loving prayers.
Are men welcome too? I am unusual in my understanding of the Bible. Yet from that understanding my confidence is in the faithfulness of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
Since Milly is versifying perhaps I may add my contribution. I hope none of us will need such for yet awhile.

Almost no one agrees with me, especially the theologians. Still it is not for me to force my understanding on others. One of my understandings is that we have only one teacher, Jesus Christ by his Holy Spirit. He does the teaching in his own way and at his own pace. I am content with that, for me and for all.
