So my really bad anxiety causes me to freak out over the littlest things and I’ve researched literally everything there is about dry socket, how to prevent it, how to treat it and what it looks like. I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out Tuesday July 9th and it’s not Monday July 15th, so it’s been 7 days now. I have to admit that on day 5 I ate 3 slices of pizza but I was very very careful when chewing it and i didn’t even chew it all the way and swallowed it almost whole. I didn’t eat the crust either. The next day i ate little mini hamburger sliders and was also very careful when chewing and didn’t chew it all the way but enough that i could still swallow it. For the past few days i’ve been gently rinsing my mouth out with warm salt water and listerine. A few hours ago I had a bite of snickers ice cream and now the peanuts are stuck in the extraction sites and its very annoying so i took the syringe my doctor gave me to clean the sites and used it with warm salt water to clean it out. I got one peanut out but it took almost 4 times squirting water in there to get it out and i stopped because i noticed this string of pinkish redish white stuff start trying to come out of the extraction site and it scared me. This also happened earlier when i tried rinsing the peanut out of my mouth and it really scared me because i thought it could’ve been the blood clot (this happened 2 hours ago) and i don’t know if i’m just over thinking it but one of my teeth are hurting kind of bad and feel sensitive and it’s causing me to freak out. I think i may just call my doctor tomorrow and ask what it could be and if i should come in to make sure the blood clot didn’t get dislodged but i don’t want to waste an hour going to the doctor for nothing so if someone can please help me figure out what this pink stuff is that was trying to come out that would be greatly appreciated.
