Sunni,
headaches, head pains, head pressure, are all extremely common with anxiety. I have had that on and off for years! Millions of people have your symptoms due to anxiety. You are way too young for stroke or heart attack and the likelihood of aneurysm is extremely small. If you had a brain aneurysm you would definitely know it! My father had one and the headache was absolutely unbearable! It's excruciating pain.
Plus he was 75 years old when he had it. You are very young to have something like that.
What you have is healthy anxiety. If it makes you feel better go get tested but don't be surprised if they find absolutely nothing wrong . Especially with your history of anxiety.
I went through all of that expecting them to find something terrible which never happened.
Remember you have anxiety and depression . Those two alone are enough to give you headaches and head pain and nausea. I had all those symptoms plus many more.
anxiety can literally cause hundreds of symptoms .
please don't Google your symptoms. Here's why: you can take just about any symptoms and it will apply to just about any condition. For example, somebody can be having chest pain and think they're having a heart attack right away because they googled that symptom. However, chest pain can also be caused by indigestion, anxiety, back problems, gallbladder issue, and many other things.
when you Google you worry yourself needlessly .
The problem is not the symptoms. The problem is that many people don't know how to manage their anxiety and depression and so they get symptoms.
what is happening is that fear is taking you over and so you get the negative scary thoughts.
All anxiety begins in the brain so in order to eliminate symptoms you must relax your mind. The more you think about all this the worst everything is going to feel.
it's important to use proper breathing when you were feeling anxious. There is a very short audio that you should listen to. Once you learn it you can use it anytime anywhere and it really helps. Go to YouTube and search for "mindfulness breathing meditation guided 10 minutes ". If you have earbuds use them and listen carefully. This is a mindfulness approach which is taught all over the world. Mindfulness teaches you to stay in the present moment and focus first on your breathing.
There are excellent meditations on YouTube also for anxiety, depression, sleep, etc. they completely relax my entire mind, body and symptoms. The more you practice mindfulness the more control you will have over your anxiety. I do these every night while lying down . There is also a book titled mindfulness with the white cover in a ball of string on the cover. It teaches you everything you need to know to manage your anxiety, negative thinking etc. and help you regain your peace of mind.
The main thing is to relax your mind, if you happen to get a negative thought don't try to fight it off because that will make it worse. What you do is in the relaxed manner, acknowledge the thought . You are the observer. Observe that thought for a few seconds and then watch it flowed off and dissolve. We are not our thoughts. They come and go all day long fleeting about. You don't have to let them control you. So do that every time you get a negative or scary thought. This is also taught in the book.
don't take life too seriously. Nothing is worth losing your health over. Stay active in social and remember to laugh and smile and do things that relax you like walking in nature, calming music , etc.
remember, life can be stressful. But you don't have to let it take you over. There is a 99.9% chance that what you're going through is related to that. You are young and have your whole life ahead of you.
Be a fighter for yourself!
Go visit the doctor if that helps you clear your mind about this. But remember, when everything comes out normal, please believe the results! The test don't lie. You need to get on with your life and manage your anxiety. Don't make the mistake I made and waste over 20 years of my life with worry! I can't get one of those days back. I am living proof that stress and anxiety and even depression did not take control of my life and and it did not kill me
any symptoms you get with anxiety cannot hurt you.
if you're really struggling with anxiety and depression, get some counseling because it really helps to speak with someone else. Maybe you even need medication for the depression.
you are going to be absolutely fine! One day at a time.
Concentrate on school.
get counseling if you feel you need it.
do the breathing and anxiety meditations - more you practice the more control you will have
get some exercise and socialize
allow negative thoughts to come, then observe, then release
get the mindfulness book if you can
Smile! 😁❤️❤️❤️
