It's only taken 12.5 weeks but I am starting to like my new hip!!!!!
Hi Rachel,
Delightful news....
hope all the worries about first shower, bath, the 90 degree rule, etc, all fade as the new realligned Rachel jumps up and down.
Have fun with new hip...

Know how you feel in the first few weeks every movement included thoughts about "the hip" Now at 13 weeks beginning to take it for granted in the sense that I no longer think about it continuously
I know what you mean Rachel, I am 15 weeks now and sometimes forget that I have a new hip. I do not even know it is there somedays. I am sooo looking forward now to having the other one done and hope for the same result
I had a good giggle 😊
But indeed, forgetting t at times is nice. Realising you forgot is even nicer. Like kneeling down and that sudden 'wow... I just knelt down. No hurt! Yay!' Sensation.
So looking forward to the moment I'm 100% hipped-out 😉
Stay happy and keep liking! 😀
You'll know you are there when you can do the hippy hippy shake!

Hi Rachel ... how wonderful !!!! not to rain on your parade but unfortunately mine still wants the attention ... mainly because she is compensating for the other, rapidly, declining hip -
warm hug and good night for now
