Has anybody taken liquorice powder for acid reflux. I heard it's good for the acid and can be taken on a daily basis.?

I have started taking it, 1 teasepoon with yoghurt and a bit of honey.... it tastes nice, have not seen any results as such, however am anxious of the side affects of the powder, althought it has many good points, can raise blood pressure ane accelerate the heartrate too
I have heard lemon although acidic is actually alkaline once consumed, have not had it for a year and haf, since this Silent Acid Reflux started, but wanted to know your views on that....
Are you on medication? Do you get heartburn or just a sensation of something stuck in the neck?
Currently just a sensation as I am awaiting my appointment to see my pp this Tuesday coming up! I’m sure there is acid because my tummy acts up even if I don’t consume acidic things 🤦🏽♀️🤣 my kid asked me if I was hungry when he heard my tummy but I was not haha.. so I may be put on medication for that 🤦🏽♀️ We will see in two days.. I will come back here to update you also I’ll ask about the powder substitute as I don’t like taking pills at all.. no matter what it’s for haha when pregnant I took flint stone gummies instead of prenatals 🤷🏽♀️ Of course recommended by my pp it will suck to have to take pills for acid..I will be doing a endoscopy or barium swallow sometime this week after visiting my pp I’m hoping for endoscopy because it’s more effective but I’m also afraid of that test more than barium swallow test.. anxiety is really kicking my butt this month 😂
flint stone gummies... oh that is cute. Well hope you get diagnosed soon. My Barium Swallow showed no acid reflux, but when the put a camera down my stomach they said slight haitus hernia and silent acid reflux.. its a terrible feeling... wish there was a cure for it or atleast a medication that would stop the sensation.
Keep me posted... btw.. have not taken the liquorice powder for a week.... i should start again, was scared of the side affects, even natural remedies seem to have side affects..

Hey CK, will they be performing a surgery to help you? Also how does the powder tastes? Which natural remedies have you tried? My best friend is into essential oils An he’s been trying to get me to try them because he knows how much I dispise pills.. maybe I’ll give it a go.. 🤷🏽♀️Which is causing this sensation for you the hiatus hernia or silent reflux I wonder..having all these different types of medications one would think there was something for this thing we’re experiencing.. hoping you feel well soon
