Has anyone any information on the effects of Lithium on LS?
Hello joe80264, I did a Google search "using Lithium for Lichen Sclerosus" and from what I read, it sounds like lithium may have caused LS in some people. It was interesting though too because in looking that up, I found a few sites that said that baking soda and water helped, as well as a product called emuaid. I suggest to keep poking around these boards on Patient. Many topics and posts have been made here regarding LS. Good luck in your research and Blessings to you 
Thanks Sheryl. The lithium is not prescribed for LS its for a mental health condition, so I was just wondering if anyone else had any experience of taking this medication and LS. Been living with LS and bipolar(type2) for many years and never seem to get them both stable at the same time...and if I'm honest the LS is probably the more devastating, its such a personal illness and its only this year that I have mentioned it to my children both who are in their 20's. I have such a back story with this condition and am surprised at the lack of information available. Just glad I found this forum.
