I am a 25 year old male that noticed these red spots on my penile head and they presented no issues. no itchyness or pain. at first i believed it was pimples on my penis but after a visit to the emergency room i was told it was a yeast infection. ive searched the internet for any information and to no avail no luck. i was prescribed some antifungal cream, so i will be applying that for the next week to see if it helps
Have you recently had unprotected vaginal sex? There can be a number of causes of this type of symptom, so all you can do is try the antifungal for the recommended period you were told. You should see some improvement within 2 or 3 weeks if it actually is a yeast infection, and you are using the cream correctly. If the symptoms do not greatly improve after a few weeks you may have some other condition. You can update this forum after three weeks or so if no improvement …

i have not had unprotected sex at all only when i was 17 with my first girlfriend. yes i have been putting the cream and today would be the second day of application. my anxiety has been through the roof since i saw this. i had to double check with another emergency room doctor and when this doctor looked at the red spots said that i have an infection of the skin called cellulitis from the buildup of bacteria under my foreskin, but once i searched the term i cant really see me having that. do these look like herpes lesions?
