Hello pam,
So what does this mean? Is it a fatty liver, were you told the reason you cannot have a thr?
I have never come across this one, they should tell you why this won't allow you to have new hips - probably due to bone problems?
I have to undergo extra blood tests as my liver isn't producing enough Factor 7 clotting from vitamin K.
That is a high GGT level. Why were you tested? Have they diagnosed any liver disease? It is possible to have hip replacement with a high GGT but you will probably find that most surgeons will not be too keen, as it can exacerbate the liver problem.
Have not heard of this. Is this the result of a blood test ?
So what other part of the LFT test were raised and actually I broke my hip and my GGT was in the 1200 range, arthritis can raise it so could alcohol in the previous 2/3 days prior to test
