Hi, guys. My father had a heart attack last week. Fortunately, he survived, but he was in heavy condition. I was wondering how to recover faster after this. Does anyone know to answer me this? I will really appreciate if someone could. This is really important to me.

Only his doctors can tell you as they have all the facts. If in the UK aftercare is good and they will send him to cardio rehab classes to give him confidence and get him to as fit a level as they can. After that it is up to him.
Hi Billy
I had a triple bypass, luckily before I the heart attack. Once you have had one a lot is dependent on how much damage was done to the heart muscle itself. Your Cardiologist should be able to tell you. If there was minimal damage recovery should be a bit easier. Basically it's about total lifestyle change. Losing weight through gentle but regular exercise, eating healthier, lots more fresh fruit and vegetables, being more active generally. Life can be even better than before but a positive mental attitude is needed as well as support from all of his family. Unfortunately it's easier said than done, and easy to slip back into bad habits. My son had a friend whose dad survived one 15 years ago. Today he is slim and fit and active. Plays tennis and golf and goes for long walks with the dog. Its not all doom and gloom.
Hi I am glad to hear your father is a survivor , me as well suffered 3 heart attacks in one day December 2014 and I made it too my healing has been slow but I do feel stronger I believe it's different for each of us who have survived the important thing here is to change what ever life style you had before Heart Attack or at least some I am very proud to say I stopped smoking I was a 25 years old smoker and since my incident I am a smoke free person and I feel good we are lucky people and God has given us a second chance at life lets do good and be grateful. Hope your fathers heals fast and be patient because mood swings do happen just be supportive and love him....
