Hi Ladies i was just recently diagnosed with having 2 ovarian cysts, one on each ovary. i have had all sorts of issues such as constant bloating, lower back and hip pain, loss of appetite and constipation . i spoke with my obgyn and he said the cysts measure 3 and 4 cm and I should'nt be having these symptons since there small. i also havent had a period now since December and i am 51. has anyone experienced these symptons with cysts? i also feel worse in the morning, clammy and sweaty. he wants to see me for an exam and lab work but not for 2 weeks due to cornavirus (he's returning back to office) and im now worrying myself since i was pretty sure these feeling were due to the cyst or hormones. any advice helpful

Hi llotenz, I dont think you should worry, get your bloodwork done, when you can…it cant hurt to get a good physical if you havent had one lately, he is probably going to check some hormone levels(maybe thyroid & etc..) and basic stuff like blood sugar, pressure, maybe urine…these symptoms are probably starting due to peri/menopause, it causes a whole range of issues(it doesn’t mean you will get them all) like your metabolism slows, bowel habits, sleep disturbance, hot & cold flashes, night sweats, appetite & etc…in your case your constipation can be causing things like bloating, back pain, loss of appetite, too…you can work on that and you will feel much better, just from that, THESE THINGS HELP ALL:Stay hydrated, if you’re sweating you can get dehydrated and it can make you feel pretty bad, eat well (fruits, veggies, protein, fiber close to 20g/daily…watch the sugar & salt) & be sure to ask your DR about your calcium(depleted as we age, need to prevent osteoporosis) & you need Vit D to go with it, maybe a supplement can help?? Weight bearing exercise like walking, hiking, cardio like swimming, & etc..are important, we start losing muscle mass more after age 40, & keep your weight in check, (a warm heating pad on your belly/back can really help, so can lightly massaging your lower belly/back)..if you still have constipation ask your DR he may tell you to try senna laxatives once in a while or any number of OTC helps…You should try to de-stress starting NOW, relaxation/visualization, yoga, deep breathing, meditation, read, hot baths, music…stress makes symptoms worse and a huge portion of women end up with anxiety related to peri/menopause, you will get a lot of response here..try not to be overwhelmed, have a good support system of people you can talk to, take things one day at a time…you must keep busy and do what you can, when you can…things you enjoy…wish i could be of more help but, I wouldn’t worry(exactly what I would tell anybody in my family) get your check up & ask your DR anything of concern..Good Luck & BEST WISHES:wedding::rainbow::paw_prints::musical_notes::infinity::peace_symbol::four_leaf_clover:
