survived a saddle embolism last fall. ive been dealing with many autoimmune issues, so, i have a bunch of specialists. for the PE, ive only been prescribed blood thinners. should i be concerned bout another one? should i be seeing anyone other than a hematologist?
i had this five years ago. on thinners for life. i have not had even slightest sign of another one as yet so i just keep doing as dr says. try not to worry.
I would see a pulmonologist as well. I did and still do. If you’re on thinners you should be protected. I had a bilateral pes in November 2016. I was on Thinners for 6 months so far I haven’t had anymore. But I do take daily baby aspirin.
