Hi, so i had sex without a condom on november 26th of last year ( a few months ago) two weeks later i noticed a rash on my penis looked up what it could be found out that it could be herpes. long story short i went to get tested almost exactly a month later came back negative for herpes. almost two months later im fairly certain its not herpes. it was a yeast infection, later it developed in my mouth (oral thrush) saw that that is early signs of hiv. ive always had dry skin but my face is red kinda looks like a rash but doesn't really itch. and that was also a symptom. so just reaching out to someone who maybe has hiv or knows someone who does who would recognized these symptoms or someone who could educate me if they believe its not hiv . also i'd like to add that the herpes test tested for all std's and did test for hiv, it said non reactive. But i know it was only a month so i should test again. thanks for reading this post !
good job on taking care of your health. atthe one month mark the hiv test is 95% positive. for your own peace of mind id say go again and all it will take is a 20 min blood test to know for sure. in good news. the first test was done in a fair amount of time, so the chances of you having hiv are extremely low for you. your other symptoms sound a lot like a yeast infection. assuming you exchanged in oral sex as well and some kissing explains the oral thrush even more. with hiv youd have other symtoms of swollen neck glands, sick for a few days like the flu, pain, abdominal pain, fatigue, fever, rashes. the list goes on. get to a std clinic or your preferred location. get tested and dont be afraid to talk to your doctor. best of luck
Thank you Matthew! you have no idea how much i appreciate your response!
no problem marshal. best of luck and i hope it all works out for you!
