Looks like nobody is able to help me

back ground is for about 7 years on and off ive had intense deja vu feelings leaving me feeling but nauseous and dizzy it only last maybe 30 seconds.

i had been doing better then completely out of the blue had one of the most intense deja vu ever had. it was awful to the point i was almost sick and dizzy because i thought this is it i am going to have a seizure.

everything online has linked to temporal lobe seizures even though 4 years ago the neurologist did all the tests and it came back clear and he said its not epilepsy but i am just not convinced the more i read on google my symptoms match seizures.

i am worried sick when the next time it will happen again and if i will have a gran mal seizure.

please can people come back to me with any words of advice or comfort

thank you

Please help me anyone?

I am not familiar with this myself, so cannot give personal advice, but that sounds terrible. I’d suggest going to your GP about this; this will lead to a more thorough and personal diagnosis than anything online can give. All the best and keep yourself safe.

i know nobody understands what it is. nobody has these symptoms i have but i can only think it must be a form of epilepsy which i am scared will go worse. been to GP and they referred me to a neurologist but they dont know what it is.

i cant cope anybody advise on deja vu that can give me some relief?? can anxiety cause intense deja vu?

bro lots of people have these symptoms with there form of anxiety. you been sent to another neurologist?

Neurological tests are a lot more reliable than reading things on the internet. If the test didn’t show anything it means there wasn’t anything wrong. You have had this for 7 years and nothing really serious has happened yet. I think it is incredibly unlikely to be anything serious. It is a very bad idea to keep reading about symptoms on the net. It will inevitably make you worry more. I should go to your GP again and tell him that you cannot stop worrying about this and it is causing you a great deal of distress. Tell him exactly what symptoms you have and see if he thinks it is worth a second opinion.
I’m not sure what you mean about the deja vu but I do know for sure that anxiety can create some extremely strange and frightening symptoms.

seizures or epilepsy s the worst thing that can happen to anyone.

deja vu is a common symptom of epilepsy

to answer your question, yes anxiety can cause intense déjà vu! I told you before that many people get this with anxiety including myself. But I basically ignore it and it greatly diminishes and goes away. Even if it happens again I still ignore it and actually laugh at it. i’m living my life and enjoying it!
The more you focus on it like you are doing, the more you will have it. also keep in mind that even though other people are telling you that everything is OK, you won’t feel better until you yourself believe everything is OK.
People can continue to reassure you and you might feel better for a while but until you actually believe what they are saying you won’t feel better for long.
. Be determined to feel better! nobody else but you can truly do that. you’ve been torturing yourself for too many years and missing out on truly living!
I honestly don’t see how having a condition that can be controlled like epilepsy or other conditions is any worse than what you are doing to yourself right now.
You seem to be very miserable and not living a fulfilling life. there are people walking around and enjoying life who have epilepsy and other conditions under control with medication and a healthy lifestyle. they are living their life and enjoying it!
I truly would rather be one of them than put myself through daily mental torture and fear. take care of yourself. You’re fine.

I do understand your position and I can see how much this is distressing you. I still think you should discuss it with your GP and emphasize how much it is worrying you. He is not going to dismiss something like that unless he feels sure you haven’t got it. (If you had epilepsy wouldn’t that have shown up in your test with the neurologist?) I think may be you should try to get a second opinion but, if that is negative, don’t pursue it further. I do know that anxiety can cause all manner of very worrying symptoms.
Best wishes,
Mike
