I was taking mirtazapine for 8 weeks 30 mg worked great for me except 2 weeks in lost my sense of taste. my dr had me stop it bit was wondering has anyone else had this side effect and if so how long did it take to come back after stopping the medication
Doc had you stop mirt at 30mg without tapering off? Have you had any effects coming off so quick? Yes, loss of taste can be an effect. Many people experience tingling or burning tongue. Mine is at the tip of the tongue, but loss of taste can happen but will return.
he did he gave me seroquel as a replacement but I took it once and never again. I of course cant sleep slight headache. I probably will restart it as it helped me so much to her my depression under control after my son died
