Hi everyone. And thank you for taking the time to read this I'll try keep it short but basically I had a sinus infection for about a week and now all the congestion in my nose is clear for 2 days now but I still cannot smell anything.... Not even the slightest thing. I have even sniffed nail varnish... Whiskey right under my nose and I just feel air I cannot smell it and its worrying me it won't come back.... I cannot taste anything too that part in now so worried about but my sense of smell is so important to me. Any help really appreciated thank you so much x

I had the same thing happen a couple of years ago and it took awhile but it did come back.But now I’m super sensitive to all smells!!
Thank you ever so much for your reply… Can you remember how long it took? Its been about a week now but my nose is clear so seems very odd I still cannot smell or taste anything

I don’t remember the time line but at least a couple of months. I thought it was never going to get better.
