During my last colonoscopy (a month ago) I was diagnosed with lymphocytic colitis. A blood panel study at the time showed my neutrophils at 1.6 (1.7-7.0) and WBC at 3.3 (4.5-11.0). Prior to colonoscopy, I had a lot of diarrhea and headache issues related to food. Once I switched to low fiber diet, most of my symptoms had gone away, but I would rather fix the underlying cause and not be on low fiber diet all my life. I do have an appointment with a GI doctor coming up in two weeks. Can anyone tell me what you think about my low WBC and neutrophil count?
