Lower abdominal pain - all tests results okay.

Hello all (or anyone willing to shed some light - greatly appreciated)

I have been experiencing lower abdominal pain for roughly 7 months. When I say "pain" please keep in mind it is barrable. It's not a sharp pain or excruciating pain but more of a "dull" or sore pain. The pain will sometimes be in the lower right quadrant next to the belly button and other times it's about 2 inches up from the belly button on the right side near the right-mid abdomen. My blood tests and stool tests read all okay. White and red blood cell count all normal. Kidneys and liver okay. Ultrasound shows nothing. Recently I quit smoking and changed my diet as well as got on a consistent vitamin/herb regiment. In any case I am 30 years old, male, 6"2, 178 lbs. any input would help.

Thanks a lot,

Ted

Hi Ted,have you had any abdominal surgery that may have left you with abdomiminal adhesions ( scar tissue)?

Do you have change of bowel habit or food intolerances?  Was your gallbladder checked since you have right sided pain?  Has IBS been mentioned since nothing else has shown up?

Sounds like stomach ulcer
