Hi, I had a lower back muscle spasm 48 hours ago. I’ve had them before and they tend to pass in a week or so with the first 12 hours or so being bed rest. Previously I’ve had some mobility during the initial phase allowing me to get to the toilet etc, however this time I can’t get out of bed, can’t even sit upright without excruciating pain causing me to revert to lying down. Doctor has prescribed me with diazepam and diahydrocodene which I am allergic to. Any thoughts on what’s going on? Why is it different this time? Thanks.
