Lower left back pain

I've suffered with lower left back pain whic is also in my left buttock. It is worse when I'm on my period. Lately it had got worse. I can  feel the sorness inside when I push my fist into my lower left back.  Anyone else suffer like this?

That sounds very painful. If use have a GP he can help u with relaxer meds and 

PT as well as X-rays if necessary to find the problem and treat.

Hi Louise, I had simptoms like yours and I found (several years after - April 2014) and when I had a MRI, the radiologist found Modic Changes on my vertebrae. In this forum there is a discussion going on about this. If you want to know more you can read it. Regards, Ana.
