I was diagnosed with LS in October and referred to Gynaecology but due to covid the approximate wait time is 27 weeks as of March. I’m only 24 and do not want to wait that long as it is really effecting my life and my mental health. I’ve been using steroid cream and a cream in the shower but I still get cuts every time I have intercourse. I’ve seen some people have had Fenton’s procedure to help with this, I’m aware it may not work but I’ve booked a consultation with a private hospital to see my options. Has anyone had this procedure or knows of anyone who has had it? I would try anything at this point as I’ve never been able to have intercourse without the skin splitting.
Ps I have also tried dilators which do not work, the skin has joined at my entrance and it’s so thin it just splits so easy.
