ls playing up really bad. hiy

Hiya

Had ls for over a year now and it's never played up this bad before.

Doctors last week change my cream and it seem to have burnt me. Really sore can't go to the loo with out creaming. Went bk to the doc yesterday he tried to tell me that's I should keep on with the cream. But every time I use ut I can feel it burning really don't know what to do. I can't cope

try using less to start with and some nappy rash cream to sooth but also try a warm damp cloth and sit for awhile between  till it feels better it also help the cream to be absorbed better and faster. hope this helps if not back to doctor and tell he has know idea the pain it causes so you need it changed try not stress about it that makes it worse maybe a relaxing bath in the solution bi carb bath that hanny surrgest read some formums ago someone said it gives good releif good luck

What cream have and were  you  prescribed and how much are you putting on an where? Have you removed all of the previous application before you put more on, how often are you applying the cream? Are you protecting your vulva from all body fluids? Where is the L S  most troublesome, around your back passage or urethra? Have you looked at what you are doing have you SEEN the area?

many creams and ointments will sting for the first few days  sadly to get the benefit teeth have to be gritted. Make sure you drink a lot of clear fluid to reduce the concentration of the urine Try sluicing the area with tepid slightly salty water the amount of salt should be the same as your tears!

My first thought is - perhaps you apply too much of the ointment. Thin applications may make a big difference already.

Are you looking at your diet already?  Important to cut out certain foods - biggest one being sugar.

You may benefit from taking baking soda/bicarbonate baths (1/3 cup in a bath) Sit in it as long as the water is comfortable.  After the bath apply a thin layer of the ointment.

Read the various discussions on this forum.  There is a lot of good info to be found.
