Feeling very down had lthr in nov and pain is nearly as bad as before top of hip and groin have had physio with no joy and been to see consultant am due to go back in hosp Thursday 12th for some injection not really sure wy am still like this still but pain is awfull feeling really down

Aw, Georgina, I really feel for you.

I'd very very explicit when you see the consultant as they don't generally do subtle.

I really hope they get it sorted for you; it's obviously not acceptable.

I had similar BUT  I knew mne was due to straing the muscles(psoas and abductor) resulting in inflammation and tendonitis.  Have now had cortisone injection to reduve inflammation... hoping that at last I will be sorted. Hip tho is fine!!  Check with your physio re.muscles... can you lift your leg forward and upwards? if not then more likely the muscles.  Also your ohysio when doing massage sld feel tension and knots in those groups of muscesand it may wellextend down thru quads to as it always has a knock on effect!  Not wha  you wanted hear.. but there is light at the end...

Aww.....sorry you are suffering.

One thing I would suggest is to make a list of all your complaints beore you see the consultant. Also all the questions you need to ask him.

I would ask the nurse or receptionist to copy you into his correspondence.

That means that the letters he sends to your GP you will get a copy of them as well

Thanks Ye will do that x feeling so low not even bin bac to work yet I am a cook and do everything myself and they won't let me back till fit xx

I like you am a bit down. I even told my DR. I wasn't very happy with my outcome!  So let's try and be positive that it will get better.
