is that quick or what? Got some swelling on left leg - i am icing it. Was nervous before the op - seem to be recovering ok concerned about dislocation particularly as I have seen posted thins happening without patient realising it - I would have thought the pain would be tremendous and would alert one. Good luck to all going in for theirs.gym and swimming over the last year seems to have helped a lot.
Wow! Well done. All the hard work you did beforehand will pay off in a big way. I am day 9 post op and I am improving every day thanks to the hard work I put in. A word of advice, if I may? Don't overdo it just because you think you can. I have learned not to overdo things and to listen to my body. All the best. Ruth
Good advice gratefully accepted- mustn't get complacent - thanks.
Well done and just take it easy! Rest, elevate, walk and sleep is my advice.
Make sure you get physio support , I have to wait another two weeks to find out if I'm doing ok!
Ten weeks on and I painted the window sills today! It may have taken three times as long as pre op - but who cares, it's progress.
Have a a great weekend x
