I had this for about a year and it never went away. Should I be concerned?
I am certainly no urologist or skin specialist or have any medical training for that matter but I would say this is a skin growth that could appear anywhere on the body. I had something that looked very similar to this below an eye on my face and my GP did minor surgery to remove it.
I would say the essential issue is that if it has been there for about a year and if it was something to be concerned about it would have developed or changed in some way by now if it was going to cause a problem.
Certainly the next time you get a general health check or have need to go to a sexual health service for something unrelated to this, then get it checked out …
