The puss filled lumps are something else, they are quite common and are linked to skin pore blockage or hair follicles becoming infected - liquid antiseptic clears the infection within 4 to 6 days.
The lump you have now looks most like a penile cyst, even if it is a lymphocele you need to bring about the change. Ease way back on the amount of masturbating you do, and yes, a cyst can take many months to clear, but this is dependant on no further irritation being caused to it as it can increase in size, or simply remain in place if further irritation occurs
