I have had this lump on the shaft of my penis for the last 3-4 months. It is soft and there is no pain. I initially didnt think anything of it but after several months I decided to get it checked out. My PCP was certain that it was syphilis, took a blood test and prescribed me doxycycline. The test came back negative for syphilis and the MD suggested that I complete one week of the doxycycline also prescribed podofilox to treat as possible genital wart. I completed the week of doxycycline and 2 rounds of the podofilox and there has been no improvement. The only thing the podofilox did was make the area swell up and turn raw . Please help!
