I found a lump in my shin and it's been working me a lot. My doctors appointment is tomorrow which is why I think it's worrying my so much now. The lump is swishy and pretty moveable. I get aches sometimes but I don't know if that's because I'm over thinking it because it goes away when I'm not thinking about If and I've ran on it and it's fine. Has anyone else had this before?
Hi Emily, sounds like a cyst to me, the ache is probably over thinking things if it isn't causing you much discomfort then forget about it.
Let us know what GP thinks it is but my guess is it's just a benign cyst.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I went to my doctor and he said that it's scar tissue, formed over time when the area is constantly getting injured. Which is true, I always seem to run into things and hit the same spot. He also said that it's more common to get scar tissue with the birth control I'm on. Now, I'm certain that pain was from anxiety because ever since I went to the doctor it's gone. Thank you for your reply
