I have a lump on my right side just below my liver, possibly in or around the colon some times I can hardly feel it but other times it gets really inflamed and uncomfortable, but it never completely goes away. I have had an ultrasound and blood tests and they are all clear so the consultant just put it down to ibs, can it be just that?
I think I would get a second opinion. I don't know if I have a lot of faith in some doctors.
If it was a prominent lump the best thing is an Mri an ultrasound would also pick up a mass but as Donna said I wouldn't be happy if it was me and go and ask for further tests even just to put your mind at rest
