Lustral upped from 100mg to 150mg today

Hi Ive just had my dose upped today, as mentioned above. 2 things, 1. Will I have side effects until new level kicks in and 2. How long for for it to kick in. I did this before but can not remember. T’u

Every time you up a dose it can take 6-8 weeks, is like starting all over again, it’s what I been told.

Thanks Dana, as i said i could’nt remember. pity I can not forget anxiety!! I am back with GP in a month to see how I am going, so hopefully I will be almost there, by then.

Hi,
I had mine increased also from 100 to 150 a couple of days ago. I have definately slept better but getting headaches and feeling a little sick on and off. Also feeling a bit spaced out! Hoping it will only last a little while but on saying that it’s not too bad, I can carry on as i normally do.

Hi, did your new level make you tired? Have headache but so far so good, having said that its only day 2. But I will take it one day at a time. T’u

Dear Jean,

Yes, tired and a little spaced out. Today I feel better than yesterday. No headaches and less hot flushes. I think we just need to give it time and I think it will be all worth while😁

Hi Jean ,
I feel absolutely fine now. My main problems were anxiety and hot flushes. Both have almost gone now! Mind you I am on holiday in Barbados at the moment which I’m sure helps!:grin:
