Hey, I woke up this morning with pain in my neck, thought it was the way I slept but now I think it's my lymph nodes that are becoming swollen. So this means that I am infected right ? How can I get them to go down before they even start ? I've been stressing about it all day. Also there was a very tiny whitehead pimple by my vagina and I popped it but when I googles herpes pimple it looked just like the pictures.. sigh ... since I squeezed the head it was just a bump and it seems to be going down now, any suggestions about the syptoms ? How to get this neck pain / lymph nodes away ?
well first, herpes loveee stress so quit that. easier said than done, I know. Take a bath, watch relaxation videos, do breathing exercises, whatever you think might help. Take your mind away from this. Secondly (which should have been first actually), have you had an outbreak? Have you been tested? Nothing is certain without the proper blood test. Thirdly (is that a word?), lymphs node can swell for a lot of different reason. Constipation, bug bite, name it. I have HSV1 on genitals and I get swollen lymphs nodes because of a cold, too much salt in my food intake, sore muscles... Only way to make it go away is wait. It's your body fighting whatever. If you can pin point it, that's great, but it still won't help much to know the reason. It has to do its job and then it will go away. If you suspect herpes, get tested. Good luck.
Hey! No never had a outbreak just had some tingling on and off for a while. Got tested some weeks back and was positive for a combined igm test and then started on valtrex.
