Hi i no I've asked before but can anyone feel lymth node and are normal?
Sometimes lymp nodes can get swollen when you get a sore throat then go back down. During sickness they can be sore. You can also have lump nodes that don't go back down without any cause for concern. Lymp nodes just take infextion out of your body. If it is the size of a quarter then you need to see an ear nose and throat doctor. Also if you have more than three or more. It's easy to get a federal from yor family doctor however it take about 2 weeks to be seen by the ENT. But some people have swollen lymp nodes there from when they were infants. Because a lot of kids get them from haveing cradle cap and the lymp nodes don't ever go down.
Hi i can feel loads of lymph node about 3 under jaw 2 under other side of jaw and I'm sure I can feel my glands next to my neck muscles.... If u feel your neck muscle can u feel anything next to it? All doctors said I'm fine but I don't belive them. Scan said it was 3 cm one in neck but not to worrie was fine normal neck scan. That was 15 weeks ago about been like it bout 5months. I just don't like feeling them lol
ambee, there is no reason for them to lie. If you are worried, keep an eye on the size, and if it gets bigger go back, but really, doctors wont tell you lies, you could sue the after all. its hard when you are anxious about your health. and as soon as one thing is clear, you find something else to worry about. We aren't guaranteed 100% health for ever, so there is always an element of chance, and all we can do is minimise it, which you are doing.. What I tell people is that the majority of us live to a ripe old age. So don't waste your precious life worrying so much.

Yes I can also feel my lymph nodes in my neck.
Sometimes it feels like I have got quite a lot that I can feel.
They come up sometimes when you are feeling unwell. Some people can feel them there all the time and they can enlarge when feeling ill also.
If you are worried go to your Dr, they can take a blood test to make sure everything is ok x
your lymph nodes don't usually swell unless an organ with cancer spreads to the lymph nodes then the bloodstream to other parts of the body to produce secondary cancers. So I should not worry too much. Lymph nodes also clean the body of unwanted waste material. You cannot really tell if they are swollen.

Hi do you suffer from Heath anxiety? The reason I ask is because I do and some years ago I was obsessed with my glands and nodes!!!
You will always be able to feel them! If you have a little infection in your mouth ie sore gums ulcer etc then your nodes will be slightly tender and larger as long as there not up like a golf ball and aren't Rock hard then your totally fine!!! As my doc once told me stop worrying about your nodes and get a hobby!!!! Lol I hope this makes you feel better

Ahaha thank you I do worrie about my health at times I can feel loads under jaw then I'm sure I can feel glands next to my neck muscle it's been like it for bout 5 months or so. Had blood test esophiline count one of white cells kept coming bck high but past yr it's stayed high going bck down into normal range. They said probly my hayfever or allergy
