Has anyone had trouble with the Lyrica drug? I've been on it for 4/5 months and had a few side effects at start but thought nothing of it! Side effects died down and carried on as normal. 3 weeks ago I was told to up my dose now I find it hard to pass stools and hard to take a wee and have lower back pain.
Can anyone relate or help?
Yes there are a whole host of side effects with Pregabalin and Gabapentin.
Some people are lucky enough not to fall prey to them, but others not so.
You need to report any/ all problems that you encounter with either of these drugs to your doctor without delay.
Hi, Kevin: Concerning Lyrica....I love the way that it makes my pain go away, however, I can only take about one or two a WEEK....the side effects are terrible. I gained five lbs. of fluids the first week, and was unable to have a bowel movement for four days...Now, I'm taking Tramadol, and it works great...no side effects that I can see...if you are on Lyrica, be sure to watch your weight...I've known people to gain 50 lbs. on it in just no time, unless you are trying to gain, of course...Good luck...keep in touch...
Hi Kevin, Some drugs do cause contispation, but if your having trouble with passing urine i would see the GP as your kidneys will be affected and this is probally what is causing the back pain as well. See GP asap if you cannot get to one because of the weekend go to the pharmacy for advice till you can see the GP.

I was given it for anxiety but it knocks me out at only 50mg I feel off balance and confused would this wear off?
Yea I had all that at the start but you gotta battle through it
Thank you . I felt awful like I was going to pass out then fall asleep. Drunk in a bad way. When does it pass. It scared me!
Bout 3/4 weeks then it will ease
